  3. For the budget you have in mind just a couple of years. It is much more than just cost. Other information that should be considered is to Look at density, IFD, or ILD. http://www.stlbeds.com/articles/2009/04/13/what-is-ifd-or-initial-force-deflection/ Thickness should be at least two inches or more. Do your research. Check out whats the best mattress.com

A cheap one will be lucky too last for a year and smell is more of an issue in the begining. It’s like a new car, eventually the smell disapates, it doesn’t get stronger.

  4. A year! and it will start to get flat on the first month of using and about the cushion you weight to heavy and that’s the reason why it will flat instantly!

  5. Really depends on the quality you purchase in the first place. If you bought a cheap memory foam then you are looking at no more than 6 months.

I would suggest getting a higher quality foam. Higher quality foams should last a minimum of 2 years. Obviously the foam will not be as elastic the longer you use it but even after 2 years you should still feel it’s benefits.

Be careful as many companies claim their pads/mattresses are memory foam when in fact they are not.
Check out this site for more reading. I would suggest doing your research being purchasing a memory foam mattress.
